About this dashboard
What is Padma Shri? India's fourth highest civilian honour, awarded annually by the Government of India since 1954 to recognise distinguished service in various fields — arts, education, industry, literature, science, sports, medicine, social service, and public affairs.
This project curates Tamil Nadu recipients year by year, linking each honouree to their Wikipedia profile and Amazon book listings. Data is sourced from Wikipedia and Ministry of Home Affairs official PDFs. New years are added regularly — all data is open and on GitHub.
